Saga is een Canadese rockband die met name grote successen boekte in Duitsland en Puerto Rico. Saga behoort tot de belangrijkste vertegenwoordigers van het neo-prog-genre en de speelstijl van de band ligt dicht bij de progressieve rock van de jaren zeventig. In 1980 nam het succes in Duitsland drastisch toe na een opmerkelijke doorbraak. Het eerste succesvolle compilatie-album werd opgevolgd door "5 Original Albums (Vol. 2)", dat de albums "Saga", "Silent Knight", "Worlds Apart", "In Transit" en "Pleasure & The Pain" bevat.
