Finally "Hammer Damage", the first studio album since "Eternal Black Dawn" (2003), is about to be released. The new album was mixed by Kenny Powell and mastered by QuSound Studio / Michael Kusch. Epic yet catchy power anthems like the title track, the driving "Cry Havoc" or the great song "Hellas" that's bursting of masculine pathos, will make lovers of the Californian band joyfully dance. The smoky, raspy voice of Kevin Goocher (i.a. Phantom X), who has already been active in OMEN between 1998-2009, reminds of the vocals by the deceased original singer J.D. Kimball, while guitarist Kenny Powell still, in the year 2016, hasn't lost anything of his distinctive guitar playing of the glorious early days. Thanks to "Hammer Damage" OMEN are unabashedly coming back to the top of the true US metal scene.
