“Total Dark Sublime” seduces the listener with an energetic, aggressive metal punk vibe combined with huge arena rock choruses and catchy, memorable riffs. Archangel creep into the listener’s skull in a bloody inferno, with both hard and melodic songs, like a murderous nightmare from which you will never wake up. The ten tracks on the Danish band’s debut album are all uniquely varied and you never quite know where the mood will take you next. Just when you think you’ve internalised Archangel’s sound, they shoot off in a different direction... but always with brilliant melodies and menacing energy at the heart!
