Metal and orchestral music, two parallel existing worlds, finally collide and create a never-before-heard sound. In an unprecedented step, the world of metal merges with the world of the orchestra, as the authors rooted in the metal scene directly compose for the orchestra, giving it a completely new set of colors to generate a series of new sounds. The compositions performed by Baltic Sea Philharmonic, under the direction of Kristjan Järvi and featuring soloist Eicca Toppinen, are written by Eicca Toppinen (Apocalyptica), Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth), Erik Danielsson (Watain), Nico Elgstrand (Entombed AD), Tomas Haake/Dick Lövgren (Meshuggah), Jacob Hellner, and Kristjan Järvi.
